MIDSUMMER
The exhilaration of the first half of 2022, with the launch of my new brick-and-mortar creative hub in Georgetown called StudioLab RD (recently hailed as an “industry disruptor in the art space”!), is reflected in my studio work during this time – it has been a whirlwind of juicy creativity!
Rooted in eclectic curiosity and the material surprises that emerge in my process, this collection speaks to the freedom that I experience in “mixing things up" with my art experiments and not always working exclusively toward a particular “body of work”. The energy oscillates between spontaneity and restraint – with strong underpinnings of freedom.
