The Salon: Art + Georgetown

  • StudioLAB RD 1670 Wisconsin Avenue Northwest Washington, DC, 20007 United States (map)

As a storied historic arts district in Washington, DC, how is Georgetown being redefined by the galleries and artists working there today? What are unique qualities that characterize Georgetown as a community for creators and visionaries? How can that community join together to elevate the arts in the area and beyond?

Join us to discuss these questions and more on Tuesday, September 24th (6–8pm) at StudioLab RD, a working artist studio and gallery nestled in the heart of Georgetown. This next installment of our Salon Series, art+georgetown, will be hosted and moderated by Robin Davisson, artist and founder of StudioLab RD, Nancy Miyahira, Vice President of Marketing for the Georgetown BID, and Romy Silverstein, Gallery Director of Addison/Ripley Fine Art.

With a thoughtfully curated coalescence of guests, a warm and lowkey setting perfect for conversation, and un-fussy food and drink, the next edition of the Salon Series promises to be one of connection and collaboration. We hope you'll join us!

Hosts/Moderators:

  • Nancy Miyahira — VP, Georgetown BID

  • Robin Davisson — Artist + owner of StudioLab

  • Romy Silverstein — Gallery Director, Addison/Ripley
