StudioLab RD opens its doors as an official location for the first time, a milestone made possible by our move into my new studio and gallery space.

I’ll be presenting my collection, “Throughline”, bringing together multiple ways of making — painting, stitching, collage, sculptural form and layered surfaces — into a single visual language.

A large canvas will hang on the studio wall with paints and brushes ready, and everyone who stops in is invited to leave a mark. Over the course of the evening, those individual contributions will build into one collaborative painting created by the Georgetown community.

Guests can also see my current work on the walls and pick up hand-splattered Georgetown t-shirts made in collaboration with Samantha Ring of Boat House Apparel.
