FEMME Art Fair

Make This Make Sense:

Women represent 70% of the talent in the art world.
They receive 3.3% of the money.

The math isn’t mathing.

The team behind Umbrella—the art fair that has already put more than $2.5 million into local artists’ pockets—decided it was time to run a different equation. And well, after a few decades spent looking at data for a living, I know a compelling set of numbers when I see one:

100 talented women artists.

100% of art sales going directly to them.

Now that’s the kind of math I can get behind.

I’m thrilled to have been invited to take part in the first-ever FEMME Art Fair™ in Washington, D.C.

Wednesday, August 26th, 7–10pm — Friends, Family & Collector Preview. Free, easy, first look before anyone else gets in.

Thursday–Sunday, August 27–30th, 10am-10pm — open to the public, $25 for tickets. I'll be at my booth 10am–2pm and 4–7pm daily (someone's holding it down the rest of the time, so you'll never show up to an empty space).
